Marabaixo is the greatest symbol of this cultural heritage. Recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Brazil, marabaixo combines singing, dancing, and faith, celebrating the resistance and ancestry of the black people of Amapá. To the sound of drums and marabaixo boxes, the verses of devotion and freedom echo across generations.
