Amapá is a destination that enchants for its authenticity. Located in the extreme north of Brazil, the state combines exuberant nature, live culture, and hospitality that reflects the Amazonian spirit. Here, tourists find unique experiences, from the solar phenomenon at the Equator Monument to ecological trails, majestic rivers, traditional communities, and a gastronomy that translates the soul of the forest.
In past years, tourism in Amapá has grown steadily and sustainably, gaining national and international visibility.

This progress is the result of strategic actions by the Government of the State of Amapá, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Embratur, such as the "New Routes" program, which seeks to include Amapá in the main international touristic routes. Futtermore, the state carried out a detailed mapping of touristic attractives, accommodation options, and gastronomic offerings in its 16 municipalities, strengthening the planning and qualification of the sector.
